Event to benefit RACC

[UPDATE]: Due to inclement weather, this event has been postponed. Stay tuned!!

Who loves drinking beer? Who loves helping animals? Who isn’t ready to give up on wearing your tacky sweaters one more time? If you raised your hand or thought “yeah! I love at least one of those things!” then great news: I have the perfect party for you to attend.

On January 15th from 1PM-4PM, Triple Crossing Brewery *Fulton location* will help in hosting the Tacky Sweater Puppy Party for our friends at Richmond Animal Care and Control! This is a free event (not the beer, though…not free) for you, your pet and your ugliest of ugly sweaters to attend. We will also be joined by The Dog Food Truck who is based out of a renovated vintage camper. The Dog Food Truck prides itself on its select inventory, always staying stocked with varying flavors of healthy, all natural dog treats, fun and interesting dog toys, humorous one-of-a-kind accessories, and get this, there’s even dog “BEER”!

If you know Tommie’s story, you know that Richmond Animal Care and Control is our city shelter and since 1902 it has served as the only open-admission public animal shelter in the City of Richmond. They provide humane care for more than 3,000 stray, sick, injured, and relinquished pets per year. As an open-admission animal shelter, RACC takes in every animal in need in the City of Richmond, including animals that are severely injured or behaviorally unsound.

We will have a large bin set up to accept your unwanted sweaters, blankets and other snuggly items. Please make sure to bring something with you! No sweaters? No problem. Below is a list of the items that RACC could use the most this winter.

WISH LIST:

Dog Biscuits & Cat Treats

New/Gently Used Towels & Blankets

Leashes & Collars

Cat & Dog Toys/Chews

Canned Pet Food

Dry Dog/Cat Food

Empty Shoe Boxes

Triple Crossing would like to donate 10% of all draft sales for the duration of the event (1pm-4pm Saturday) to RACC.
