As a mixed use project; 150,000 square feet of retail space and 50,000 square feet of office space are also planned.

Also included in the plans are a new 50,000+ square foot Henrico County public library set beside a two-acre lake with a fountain.

The project is located at the corner of Staples Mill Rd and Bethlehem Rd, and is estimated to take 10 years to complete.

The pedestrian friendly Libbie Mill  neighborhood is going to draw on Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom architecture and will have the intimacy, scale, and ambiance of Richmond’s city neighborhoods built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The building of this new community at Libbie Mill continues to showcase the ongoing renaissance of the Willow Lawn area. Along with an increase in local tax base, the development will almost certainly increase surrounding property values and solidify this area of Henrico county as a premier destination to live and play in Richmond.

As the development continues, surrounding properties should continue to see an increase in value and desirability. Check out some of these properties currently for sale in the Libbie Mill area. Contact me today for more info!
